Steak and Mushroom Kebabs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 16 (1-inch) cubes
  • 16 button mushrooms
  • 16 red onion wedges
  • 16 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cracked pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grate well. Thread steak, mushrooms, red onion and tomatoes evenly onto 4 large skewers.
  2. Toss together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and garlic; brush over skewers. Season with pepper and salt.
  3. Grill skewers, turning occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes until steak is medium-rare or until cooked as desired, and mushrooms are tender. Sprinkle with chives.

Tips


If using bamboo skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before grilling to avoid charring.
