Red, White & Blue Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 bottle Main & Vine wine (see Combinations)
  • 4 cups fruit (see Combinations)
  • 1/4 cup mint (optional)
Directions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until cold.
  2. Combine chilled sugar water, wine and fresh fruit. Refrigerate until chilled - for best flavor, refrigerate overnight.
  3. Serve over ice, and garnish with mint if desired.

Dry Rosé: lemon wheels + raspberry + strawberry slices
Pinot Grigio: fresh pineapple slices + blueberries + strawberry slices
Merlot: crushed pineapple + orange wheels + halved grapes
Chardonnay: lemon wheels + orange wheels + peach slices + Granny Smith apple slices
Cabernet: orange wheels + Granny Smith apple slices + pear slices
Sauvignon Blanc: peach slices + orange slices + strawberry slices + raspberries
White Merlot: maraschino cherries + orange wheels
White Zinfandel: watermelon balls + raspberries + blueberries
White Zinfandel Chardonnay: mango slices + raspberries
Chenin Blanc: Granny Smith apple slices + fresh pineapple slices + orange wheels + pear slices
White Zinfandel Moscato: strawberry slices + raspberries + fresh pineapple slices + mango slices
Red Crush: raspberries + strawberries
Red Moscato: blackberries + cherries + raspberries + orange wheels
Moscato: peach slices + mango slices
Pink Moscato: strawberries + raspberries + crushed pineapple
