Cheesy Pull-Apart Garlic Bread

1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp each salt, pepper and chili flakes
1 baguette
1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese


Preheat oven to 400˚F. Stir together butter, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper and chili flakes. Without cutting all the way through, make slits, 1/2-inch apart, crosswise into baguette. Spread butter mixture inside slits and on top of baguette. Toss together mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Stuff cheese mixture inside slits.

Cut baguette in half; transfer to parchment paper–lined baking tray. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.


Alternatively, substitute Cheddar or fontina for mozzarella cheese
